Muskoka BackcountryThis spectacular trip traverses Muskoka’s finest backcountry close by. We paddle the Severn River, multiple creeks, marshlands and remote lakes. See beavers, otters and possibly black bear in their natural habitat. This trip is available as a two or three-day trip. The three-day trip includes a canoe side trip and a optional hike to a view point. |

This extraordinary wilderness canoe trip combines the pleasures of a spectacular floatplane flight with the solitude of a remote canoe trip in some of the most scenic areas of Muskoka. After flying in to our access point with a floatplane of Stanton Airways we will canoe trip out over several lakes, bogs and rivers that follow historic routes traveled by the natives and early settlers. There are multiple side trips and hiking opportunities en route to look outs, waterfalls and pristine backcountry lakes. Fishing is said to be superb for Bass and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to prove it! We'll take you out to a daytrip, two day or a three day outing. |
Snowshoeing Trips |
Snowshoe Day TripsGuided snowshoe day trips enable you and your family to see more pristine areas not often traveled. It's a great winter activity to enjoy. If weather permits we travel frozen lakes, ponds and travel by map and compass. Deep snow cover prevents access without snowshoe and therefore provides ultimate winter solitude. Outings can be customized between 2 and 5 hours of travel and include snowshoes and guide. Destinations include various wilderness areas and Provincial Parks in the Muskoka and Haliburton regions. |
Showshoe and Winter Camping WeekendWe will meet at the access point and snowshoe for about 2 hours to our woodstove heated base camp tent. A Lunch will be served and after, there will be time for relaxation we can explore several surrounding lakes, wetlands and hardwood forests. The night will be spent in the base camp tent. The next morning after breakfast we head back to the access point. |
3 Days of Winter CampingWe travel with the help of Snowshoes and gear toboggans over frozen lakes to our campsite. Our night will be spent in a traditional wall tent heated by a portable woodstove. Gorgeous lakes, crisp air and some spectacular Muskoka wilderness make this an excellent introductory outing to learn the secrets of traditional winter camping. |
